District 2 Cab Event: Lunch and Local History at Western Piedmont Community College

RGEA District 2 members and guests are invited to join us on Tuesday, March 17, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm on the beautiful campus of Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) in Morganton. We’ll gather in Carr Hall, Room 212, for lunch provided by Chick-fil-A, introductions, and a brief update from RGEA.
Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the life and legacy of Senator Sam J. Ervin, Jr., best known for his role in the Congressional Watergate investigation. We’ll also explore the Sam J. Ervin, Jr. Library and Museum, which features his Washington desk, a recreation of his home study, and a collection of historical documents and artifacts.
Members are welcome to bring a guest. Please register by March 13 to reserve your spot.
