RGEA hosted “Hands Only CPR + Life’s Essential 8,” a virtual Lunch and Learn presented by Irini McCarthy, Community Impact Director of Greater Charlotte for the American Heart Association. In recognition of National CPR and AED Awareness Week (June 1–7), Irini walked attendees through two simple steps of Hands Only CPR, how to recognize the symptoms of heart attack and stroke, and the health behaviors and factors that make up Life’s Essential 8.
