IMPORTANT TREASURER INFO
For many reasons, the State Treasurer is the most essential office to government retirees because the office oversees retirement plans, and health plans for state employees. You can find helpful information and insight into the candidates’ positions below. For additional details, we encourage you to visit their campaign websites, conduct your own research, and vote for the candidates you believe best represent you. We also encourage you to watch the recent debate between the two treasurer candidates. It was televised by Spectrum News originally on October 13 and sponsored by the nonpartisan NC Institute of Political Leadership.
