The Retired Government Employees Association (RGEA) is the voice and go-to resource for North Carolina’s state and local public service retirees. Guided by the values of service, integrity, collaboration, and diversity, we’re committed to supporting retirees across the state.

Josephine Lanier, Karen Jarvis, and Gina Shell are hitting the road again—bringing RGEA’s Community Outreach events to locations across North Carolina. These free sessions are open to pre-retirees, state and local government retirees, and anyone interested in learning more about RGEA.

At each stop, you’ll receive updates on legislative activity and your pensions, along with information about the benefits, programs, and resources RGEA offers to enrich your retirement. Many events also feature representatives from our partner organizations, offering information and resources that support retirees across North Carolina.
